About Us

Vision Statement

“To establish a masjid that serves as a beacon of faith, knowledge, and unity, guided by the Qur’an and Sunnah, fostering spiritual growth, community service, and harmony among all people.”

Mission Statement

“Our mission is to follow the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah by: Providing a dedicated space for the five daily prayers, Jumu’ah, and other Islamic acts of worship, cultivating closeness to Allah. Educating the community in accordance with Islamic teachings, offering Quranic and prophetic knowledge to all age groups to deepen their understanding and practice of Islam. Fostering brotherhood, compassion, and unity by supporting the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of our community, following the Prophet’s (ﷺ) example of mercy and inclusivity. Engaging in charity and service (sadaqah) as a form of worship, serving the local Rockwall community through acts of kindness, outreach, and support for the less fortunate. Promoting interfaith understanding and peaceful coexistence by following the Sunnah of engaging with people of all backgrounds with wisdom, respect, and compassion. In all we do, we strive to reflect the core values of Islam—mercy, justice, and humility—rooted in the timeless guidance of the Qur’an and the example of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).” This version emphasizes following the Qur’an and Sunnah in worship, education, service, and outreach, ensuring the masjid serves both the Muslim community and the broader society in line with Islamic teachings.

Why Rockwall County?

According to the Dallas Business Journal, Rockwall County is the second fastest-growing county in Texas.

Established in 1873 and located just 25 minutes northeast of Dallas near the serene Lake Hubbard, this county, the smallest in Texas, has experienced a remarkable 60% population increase since 2010, now home to just over 50,000 residents. This vibrant community boasts attractions such as Rockwall Harbor and Sapphire Bay Marina and includes about 300 Muslim families who deeply feel the need for a dedicated religious space. By 2030, the population of Rockwall County is projected to exceed well over 150,000.

Our journey so far

Our journey began in 2018 with the establishment of our first Musallah for Jummah Salah. By the help of Allah (SWT) we secured a 2.7-acre site off highway I-30 (600 Turtle Cove Blvd, Rockwall TX 75087). Since then, our community has come together for daily prayers in congregation, weekly jummah prayers, monthly sisters halaqa, monthly family nights, weekend Islamic School for boys and girls, Taraveeh during Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha prayers. We have introduced educational programs for our youth under the guidance of our full-time Imam. In 2024, we proudly commenced Phase 1 of our project after getting all the necessary approval by the City of Rockwall.
